The Edmonton Kendo Club was founded in 2001 and is the oldest kendo club within in the City of Edmonton. Established by Stephanie Bozzer-sensei, the club has grown over the years. It is currently led by Matthew Russell-sensei. Many of our students participate in both provincial and national events, including regional seminars and training camps and the Canadian National Championships.
Accreditation
The Edmonton Kendo Club is affiliated with both Alberta Kendo and the Canadian Kendo Federation (CKF). The CKF is a member of the International Kendo Federation (FIK) which is the single international governing body for kendo.
